Although Kyuhyun had to cancel his appearance in “The Three Musketeers” on the day of the accident, representatives revealed that his future schedules will not be affected. Kyuhyun will be returning to Taipei, Taiwan with his Super Junior-M members within the month.

His representative continued, “Although he wasn’t severely injured, he has several bad memories regarding accidents, so he is taking a brief break for the sake of his health. He will be going back to the hospital today to receive a final check-up.”

On April 8th, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun was involved in a car accident again at 5 AM while going to Gwangju, which is at about 90 minutes from Seoul.

Later that day, SM Entertainment officially announced, “Kyuhyun was treated for injuries resulting from a car accident. In order to perform for his musical ‘The Three Musketeers‘, Kyuhyun was driving to Kwangju Cultural Arts Center at 5AM. As he was trying to merge into a different lane, he hit a truck, resulting in a minor collision. He had slight bruises on his leg and arm, but fortunately, his bones weren’t injured. He is currently undergoing a physical examination to check for more possible injuries.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment; apparently he only has bruises on his arms and legs, but no serious injury. The news say that the accident occurred in the vicinity of Jeongeup, there was a minor collision with a truck that was changing lanes. Although he got no more than bruises/contusions, he’s getting properly checked just to be sure that he is fine. Since the injuries aren’t big, Kyuhyun seems to not be worried either. A couple of articles said the truck was changing lanes, most articles say that it was Kyuhyun instead. It looks like he won’t be taking part in his last musical show tonight. Uhm Kijoon will be replacing Kyuhyun tonight at 8 PM in Gwangju; they give the chance to cancel reservation too, which is normally not allowed.

A newly released article says that Kyuhyun only suffered a knee contusion, but it’s the only one mentioning it so far. It also says it happened at 5:30 AM.

Kyuhyun was taken to Seoul Kangnam hospital for further examinations; the hospital near Jeongeup only assessed that there weren’t big injuries.

To clarify: anything coming from a “Chinese nurse”, or that Kyuhyun supposedly said and wasn’t featured in a news article, as well as “pictures of Kyuhyun after the car accident” is fake. The pictures circulating on twitter right now are of Kyuhyun sleeping in a plane. From a topic on Heechul implied on radio that the accident was caused by the man driving the truck; he said that Kyuhyun and the manager aren’t at fault (we finally know that Kyuhyun wasn’t alone, apparently they were injured so little that articles decided to leave out this info ㅡ it could also mean they took turns in driving and Kyuhyun was behind the wheel at the time of the accident)

In the late afternoon, Kyuhyun tried to reassure his fans by tweeting, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry“.

Actor Uhm Ki Joon replaced Kyuhyun for April 8th’s performance of ‘The Three Musketeers’.

SM Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against the unfair judgment which deemed S.M The Ballad’s album as ‘inappropriate for youths’.

According to the Seoul Administrative Court, SM Entertainment filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Gender, Equality, & Family, stating, ”We cannot accept the judgment which was made with imprecise standards.”

The Ministry of Gender, Equality, & Family deemed S.M The Ballad’s track, “Another Day“, as inappropriate for anyone under legal age due to the lyrics’ references to alcohol (“Drunk on alcohol so that I don’t miss you” and “If you fall asleep drunk, you dream“).

Yet representatives of SM Entertainment are claiming this judgment to be ridiculous. One particular representative expressed their opinion to Star News, saying “We don’t understand why they would flag it for inappropriate content based on references to alcohol. They didn’t consider the charm of the song as a whole. Judging by specific words impedes the writers’ freedom of expression.”

Last November, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Jonghyun, TRAX’s Jay and Jino worked together for a project group named ‘S.M The Ballad’. However, since the album was deemed as inappropriate for youths, fans under 19 years old was unable to purchase the album.
